The South Baton Rouge Church of Christ logo is a culmination of a lot of thought and hard work. It began as a concept by two of our ministers and when combined with the input of the believers at South became a graphic illustration of who we are. The message is simple. South Baton Rouge Church of Christ is a diverse group of Christians that not only gathers at the foot of the cross, but also understands it was what Jesus did on the cross that makes it possible for us to experience "hope" in this life and beyond. As for the diversity of South, it's more than just a mixture of ethnic backgrounds and cultures. It's a broad cross section of people grounded in the realization that even in the closest of families there are differences and despite those differences, we remain "one" in Jesus who sacrificed everything so we could be His children.
