Why a beach retreat?
With all that goes on in our lives, it is good to get away from the distractions of normal life to focus on spiritual formation and fun friendship building time. When we have less standing in our way, it is easier for God to meet us where we are.
What is a beach retreat like?
A weekend of fun and spiritual growth with caring people.
There will be:
-Plenty of free time to play, create, and hang out
-Games and water activities
-Thought-provoking lessons created for students, with topics chosen by South students.
Some of these students will be teaching and sharing faithing stories too!
- Meaningful discussions in small groups with caring adult leaders
-Safe atmosphere to strengthen relationships with God and with friends without any phones or personal devices to distract
-Quality time to practice habits of Jesus-prayer, listening , silence, meditating, Scripture reading, journaling

Beach Retreat
March 6th-8th
Leave: March 6th around 4:30pm from SBRCC
Return: March 8th around 2pm
(More specific times will be given closer to the event.)
Location: Seashore Assembly in Biloxi, Mississippi
Cost:
Register BY Friday February 20th: $60
Register AFTER Friday February 20th: $75
Use discount code MULTIKID for 10% off retreat tickets when registering more than 1 child. Please register each child as a separate (1) ticket, but use discount on both!

Adult Leaders:
Several youth leaders who serve our youth in a regular capacity will be attending this retreat. These leaders are interviewed, background checked, and receive regular training for working with students.

3. South: Liability and Medical Release Form (by parent)
4. Seashore Assembly Liability Waiver

- Breakout groups with adult leaders sharing their specific faith stories and on related topics ( cultural messaging/pressures, how understanding of heaven has grown)
