Why a fall retreat?
With all that goes on in our lives, it is good to get away from the distractions of normal life to focus on spiritual formation and fun friendship building time. When we have less standing in our way, it is easier for God to meet us where we are.

What is a fall retreat like?
A weekend of fun and spiritual growth with caring people.
There will be:
-Plenty of free time to play, create, and hang out
--Hiking, sand volleyball, fishing, and water activities
-Thought-provoking lessons created for students, with topics chosen by South students.
Some of these students will be teaching and sharing their testimonies too!
- Meaningful discussions in small groups with caring adult leaders
-Safe atmosphere to  strengthen relationships with God and with friends without any phones or personal devices to distract
-Quality time to practice habits of Jesus-prayer, listening , silence, meditating, Scripture reading, journaling

  • Where are you with God?
  • Where are you with others?
  • Where are you with yourself?
  • We will also have small groups with adult leaders sharing their specific faith stories and healing journeys on related topics (bullying, mental health, lust & objectification, & cultural messaging/pressures)
